Peter - "Love is not selfish."
|"Morgellons is a devastating disease that happens suddenly and then overwhelms like a flood. " ..... "It is said that love is not selfish."|
Today, whenever I exhibit joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, and self control, I am spreading the healing fruits provided to me through the resources and support of the He Cures All Foundation. The foundation's message is one of love. It's promise is to rescue and revive. It's purpose is to provide hands to heal, ears to listen, and hearts to share. The foundation heals the wounded from the deepest burdens while in the throws of devastating illness.
My story is a simple one. I became sick with Morgellons in January of 2012. In June of that same year, after exhausting all of my financial resources pursuing traditional treatments, I was still very sick. Crushed under the financial weight, I could no longer pull myself up. After posting a cry for help, I received a call from Mel Friedman at the foundation. I remember thinking to myself...."this web site is responding with a personal callback?" I truly believed in that moment that I would get well. It was powerful. Where else would someone actually reach out to me with a phone call?
Later I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Friedman, and words cannot describe the assurance I felt through this vibrant and youthful man whose once riddled body now reflected strength and health. That same day the Foundation provided me a doctor who successfully treats Morgellons.
When I was without help from friends, relatives, neighbors, or professional peers, Mel and the foundation stepped in and became my advocate and mentor. In the last 24 months, the foundation has helped replace the weight of grief and pain with the resources needed to beat the disease.
Today, as I write this statement, I am almost in complete remission. What an amazing gift! I now understand that we are all part of the human family and that you discover your own worth when you give to those who need it most. To support the He Cures All Foundation is to bring forth hope to the distraught, strength to the weak, and solace to the afflicted.
What does the foundation really represent to me ? I think the words of St. Francis of Assisi capture it best:
"Where there is charity and wisdom, there is neither fear nor ignorance. Where there is patience and humility, there is neither anger nor vexation. Where there is poverty and joy, there is neither greed nor avarice. Where there is peace and meditation, there is neither anxiety nor doubt."
My deepest thanks,
